ANJANA MENON is an actor and writer living in the Houston area. Her recent theatre credits include Dance Nation (Connie) with Rec Room; dramatized readings We, the Invisibles (#6), Queen (Sanam Shah), Shiv (Shiv) and Open Carry (Omelette) at Next Iteration Theatre Company; Talk Radio (Denise) with Dirt Dogs Theatre Co.; Partition (Namagiri of Namakkal) and The Prophet and the Poet (Narrator) with Shunya Theatre. She also served as assistant director for their critically acclaimed Art and hit children’s musical The Adventures of Hanuman. Before she moved to Houston, Anjana was a core member of Masquerade in Chennai, India; with appearances in Brer Rabbit Chronicles (Brer Terrapin), Bhopal (Izzat), Dystopia (Warden) and Nuns in Black (Angelica). She also co-scripted and performed the monologue Incestuous Bastard, and wrote Sitayana, a play for elementary school students.
